Just to the west of the new student center on the Morgan State University campus in Baltimore, Maryland, sits an impressive addition to the learning community. The 220,600 s.f. four-story Library and Information Technology Center at Morgan State houses the university’s general collection, special collection, bound periodicals, reading rooms, conference space, classrooms, offices, and support areas. The superstructure is post tensioned concrete and designed to accommodate future horizontal expansion of the building.
